We stayed here from Dec 29 2024 to Jan 2 2025. I am writing this review soon after we reached home. This was one of our several visits to the Taj in the past few years and, incredibly, every visit tops the previous one. Often, one wants to try a new place although with the Taj, this is not the case. Somehow, it draws you back again and again. Sakshi helped check us in and stayed in touch throughout the stay. She took over all our matters as soon as we checked in. Which wasn’t easy given the hotel was at near full capacity and the pressure of new year eve preparations. We can’t thank her and Ritesh (the GM of the property) for making our family feel super special. The Taj Mahal Palace wing sets the benchmark for warmth and luxury. One has to stay here to set yourself a benchmark of what hotel stays can be like. If your travels bring you to Mumbai, stay here. Even if it is for a day. It makes life worth living!

We had an amazing suite overlooking Marine Drive. Great location, peaceful ambiance, beautiful sunsets and for nice long walks along Marine Drive. Excellent breakfast and service. Housekeeping staff did a great job .

Beautiful property with history, art and antique touches through out! Pool opens early which is great of you need to do laps. Lovely evening lounge vibe. Everything was top notch. It was a wonderful experience! The history of tour was a lovely unexpected extra and I recommend to everyone (it is complimentary and worth it). The sweet Mr. Newton is THE guide! Told us interesting facts, stories, and he himself has very interesting life and character!

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel! From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was top-notch—friendly, professional, and always ready to help with anything I needed. The food was simply amazing, with a wide variety of delicious dishes that made every meal a highlight. But the true gem of this hotel is the pool. It's a full Olympic-length pool, kept in pristine condition and seamlessly maintained every day. Whether for a serious swim or just a relaxing dip, it was easily the best hotel pool I've ever seen.
