My stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful! The décor and facilities are modern and stylish, and the overall ambiance is incredibly relaxing. The room was spacious, spotlessly clean, and thoughtfully designed in every detail. The staff were all exceptionally kind and attentive, providing warm and meticulous service that made me feel truly welcomed. I especially loved the layout of the room. There’s a small entryway that separates the entrance from the bedroom, creating a sense of privacy. The room also includes a cozy sitting area. Another thoughtful touch is the space leading to the balcony—it’s separated by a sliding shoji-style door, allowing guests to change after enjoying the private onsen bath outside without dripping water into the room. It’s small details like these that really reflect the hotel’s care and consideration. The private open-air bath on the balcony was one of the main reasons I chose this hotel. Unlike many other hotels that simply provide a small tub, this is a full-sized stone bath that comfortably fits two people. There’s even a small table and chairs next to it, perfect for resting and enjoying the beautiful mountain view. It was an incredibly soothing and luxurious experience. The hotel is nestled in a tranquil mountain area, surrounded by peaceful nature. The scenery is truly breathtaking—so much so that even just wandering around the hotel feels like a visual retreat. Every corner, every hallway, and every window offers a picture-perfect view. The harmony between the architecture and the natural surroundings is so beautiful that I often found myself stopping just to take it all in. The dining experience was excellent as well. Meals are served in set courses, with options beyond traditional kaiseki—including teppanyaki. Breakfast includes both Japanese and Western-style selections.

Gora Kadan was stunning, the property was very luxurious, and the onsen was super clean and well-maintained. They also gave a wide variety of toiletries and facilities for the guests. Service was fantastic, everyone went beyond to make you feel taken care of. Also had the chance to book a massage, and it was incredible. The food was fantastic. We booked a room with a private bath, and the views of the garden were stunning. Would highly recommend!

Exceptional stay in Hakone This place is truly exceptional. The house is perfectly located on a hillside surrounded by nature — peaceful and incredibly relaxing. My room had a beautiful view of the forest; I felt completely immersed in it. I could hear the birds singing every morning — it was magical. I also had my meals on site, and the food was absolutely delicious. The dining area opens up to the outdoors, offering breathtaking views while you eat. The on-site baths are fantastic — everything is thoughtfully designed, and the outdoor area is a dream. It feels like you're bathing right in the forest. The staff were beyond amazing — we were treated like royalty. I’ll definitely come back. A huge thank you to the whole team! Highly recommended, 200%. Don’t hesitate — go for it!

Everything was perfect. Great location close to the station and alot of shops nearby. Room was big and spacious. Very clean. Comfortable futon beds. The natural hotspring onsen was very clean and so relaxing especially the open Air bath. This is a really nice Ryokan perfect for relaxing and soaking in onsen. Breakfast and dinner was plentiful and well presented.

Staff --> Excellent and very helpful. One of the ladies at the checkout (apologies forgot her name), she was really good and spoke good English. Breakfast --> We took breakfast included in the package, and that was the highlight, the vegetable juice (best ever), corn soup, the hot spring eggs, the sausages and so on all were so tasty. Onsen --> Felt refreshed, rejuvenated, and relaxed. I highly recommend it. Others --> Shuttle bus use it if required. We also tried the massage, and it was the best, highly recommend.

Large spacious room, separate western bedroom and sitting room for tatami as well. We are couple but we can use both.Big window overlooking mountains. 2 big public onsens. We like the outdoors one on separate building. It has 5 pools, jacuzzi and sauna. The waiting room on 3rd floor got lots of massage chairs, rest area and game area. Quality Toiletries products. Big dining area for breakfast with lots of variety, western & Japanese. We really enjoyed our stay and will book again!
