Lovely traditional Japanese style hotel with traditional design rooms, shoes-off at the hotel entrance and using slippers/socks to walk around the entire hotel area which is pretty cool there. Rooms are with Japanese traditional flavor too, yet sleeping on proper beds, not on a floor mattress. The hot spring area on the higher floor with city view is great with indoor and outdoor hot water pool options, cold water plunge pool and sauna. Great value for the money paid!

Clean & spacious apartment, comfortable & very pretty. Host is friendly, responsive over WhatsApp, checks in to make sure we're ok, and is most happy to offer recommendations :) Location is near Matsumoto station, plenty of food options around especially if you're willing to walk. Matsumoto is a very quaint and pretty town, lovely place to walk around as well. Easy to travel to Kamikochi as well.

The property is a beautifully renovated authentic Japanese house. Our room was really spacious with comfortable beds and a calming living room. The host was amazing and really cares about the property and his guests - friendly, helpful and accommodating! He made our stay a unique experience and showed us local places to visit. Will definitely come back.
