Stunning villa with great architecture ! The villa has a great location with easy access to the beach and just 10 mins away from Galle fort.. The staff were very accommodating and friendly, the villa was very clean and of exceptional standard. In addition the food was amazing, we had Sri Lankan food as well as more Western cuisines and it was probably the best food I had during my trip to Sri Lanka. Most importantly the rooms were spacious and clean and had great views overlooking the beach . Really enjoyed my stay at Candella House.

This villa is in my opinion the best you will find in Galle, the staff are amazing, the cleanliness and location is second to none. Staff are so accommodating and the rooms are just exquisite, it’s like staying in the best 5 star hotel you could imagine, but you just have the privacy and amazing surroundings around you.

Everything about this hotel was 5 star, the beautiful comfortable rooms, friendly helpful staff and delicious breakfast. They were happy to cater for our vegan diet. We had evenings out for dinner and one in the hotel, we should have had all in the hotel as it was so good. The hotel is a twenty mi Ute walk to Galle Fort I will be recommending this lovely hotel to all my friends and family. O

A quiet, cozy place in the middle of wild nature. Great view from the room. Big beautiful outdoor pool. Clean rooms and everything you need is here. We saw monkeys on palm trees, various birds and a palm squirrel. Cats also live here. Visitors, please feed them! Very good staff, the administrator is excellent, helps in any situation. Great hotel! I will definitely come back here!

Having stayed at multiple resorts & hotels across Sri Lanka over a period of one and a half weeks, Tri by Amaya takes the win for the best stay overall for my wife and I. We happened to celebrate our Anniversary at Tri. General Manger Dinesh, Manager Harsha and Chef Camil helped plan out the day with multiple couple’s activities which included a couple’s spa, a 1.5 hour boat ride in the lake with drinks and refreshments, and a lavish dinner with off the menu vegetarian items along with a cake prepared by Chef Camil himself, all of which made the wifey super happy. We spent the rest of our time at the lake facing villa with a plunge pool, with full height windows, and a running balcony facing the lake with seating, which was absolutely perfect to say the least. An attempt to extend our stay by a day and skip 1 night in Colombo failed unfortunately as the Villa was already booked by other guests. All in all, felt pretty lucky and happy that Tri happened at the very end of our Sri Lanka trip, as it turned out to be an absolute banger, thanks to Dinesh and the entire team of service staff.

Its so Beautiful place. We enjoyed the beutiful pool, Beautiful restaurant for couple of days. We ate lunch and dinner there and there is enough variation for these days. This will be a place we always come back to. We loved the look at the monkeys climb in the trees and all birds singing early morning. Fantastic friendly and service minded staff. You can do yoga early morning by the pool or on your own balcony.

Absolutely breathtaking views from the moment you step into the lobby. The location is a bit further away from the bustle of the city, but navigation via tuk-tuk is quick and easy. Hotel also offers free transport to a nearby beach. Staff is very friendly and helpful, helped us book a tour at an incredible rate and made sure that every second of our stay was comfortable. Great place, loved our stay here!

What a gem of a place to stay. From the moment we arrived Kumudu and team couldn’t do enough for us. A taxi transfer from Colombo airport to Galle was easily pre arranged and meeting the driver was slick. We stayed in a superior deluxe room with jungle view for 4 nights. Facilities great and outdoor shower lovely. There was the added personal touch of having breakfast every morning served on your own terrace. Lush planting made for secluded spaces and good to have a pool too. Although the location is slightly out of the fort it’s easily accessible using a tuk-tuk and it’s only about 40-50 minutes walk if you’re feeling energetic. Special mention needs to go to Eran, the Olive’s on site tuk-tuk driver. It was so easy and reassuring to be able to message and he’d be there to pick up/drop off within minutes. It’s also possible for him to take you further afield. We did a round trip to Koggala lake, a turtle sanctuary, tea plantation and saw stilt fishermen. An absolutely wonderful introduction to Sri Lankan hospitality and we can’t wait to return.
