We spent two nights in a garden villa at Kandooma at the end of a two-week stay in the Maldives and absolutely loved it (after a week on a small liveaboard and a second week on a lovely local island). Kandooma’s pool was massive and fantastic, the surrounding waters and beach were stunning, the breakfast buffet was sumptuous, beach bar cocktails were delicious and the food in the restaurants was tasty, particularly at Bokkurra Coffee Club. Staff were attentive and hard working and the island is kept clean and pristine. It had all the facilities we could ask for, at a lower price than the more expensive resort islands. The resort’s speedboat transfer cost was USD$150 each return (a little over 30 mins in calm conditions), and was more comfortable than a standard speedboat experience. We would love to have spent a little longer at this gorgeous place.

All the employees were very polite and attentive. The service was excellent, and everyone was always ready to help. The staff made sure that every guest felt welcome and comfortable. Their friendly attitude and professionalism created a pleasant atmosphere throughout the stay.

The resort is a paradise on earth! Everyone is very polite and willing to help you with any request you may have! Breakfast and dinner buffet was very very good, we had the opportunity to choose from a variety of foods! I totally recommend it! And I hope I will visit it again one day!

The perfect Maldives escape. Staff, setup and activities are all first class. Special call outs everywhere: from Thess, Jamie, Pawani and Mary, with Mohammed and Joker, who run an awesome kids club, to Hanu at breakfast, the staff here are what makes this place. White sandy beach, turquoise waters, the caressing sun, the lush vegetation, the Coconut Groves stretching into the sky, the ocean view villa with its rooms and great views (Sunrise from the ocean), the michelin level and 24 hour a day open Living Room restaurant with great views of Sunset, the warm hospitality and problem solving attitude of the staff was excellent and they put a lot of effort into cleaning up! Among the high quality staff at Naladhu Island, I would highlight the exceptional resort manager Fathimath Shaazleen, the efficient all-rounder Aslam, the excellent chef Arnab at the Living Room, the professional floor manager Mico at the Living Room, and all the other staff at Naladhu Island.

The hotel was very clean with modern furnishing and amenities. I liked the privacy of the swimming pool. You need a card to get up there. The buffet at the hotel was very delicious most especially the seafood soup. Magic Mike did a great job of breaking down for us about Maafushi and all that we could explore.

Holiday Inn Kandooma is a hidden gem, mostly thanks to staff at the resort - kind, sweet people that want to help you in any way possible. Thank you for another wonderful stay at your island and thank you for making me feel special on my birthday. The beach, all the facilities and our bungalow were sparkling clean. Breakfast was delicious, such variety of food that we did not get bored after a week. My daughters loved the ladies at the kids club and all the craft activities they offered.
