We had a great time at Arena Beach Hotel and from day one the welcome was perfect. Special mention must be made of the outstanding hospitality of Reena and Shubam of the F&B team: the beautiful room decorations, the special attention and Reena's thoughtful dinner invitation were heartwarming retreats for which we will always be grateful. We will definitely be back!

The location was perfect and the food in the hotel was great! Extremely friendly and professional staff, well trained!! We created a Little problem by booking an early flight from Male, not taking the earliest speedboat departure into account. Abdul helped is out in a perfect way and problem was solved. Would recommend this hotel when visiting Maafushi!

A "boutique" hotel, perfectly located on the lower edge of the touristy part of the island. 2 minutes to bikini beach in the north, 5 to the restaurants etc. in the south. The staff were extremely helpful in pointing us in the best direction for meals, trips and general information. For diving, Maafushi Dive is next door, and for other trips we/they recommend Maldives Fellas or Shadowpalm. For meals, the nearby Velana beach was a significant cut above the rest (and we tried many) and Moonlight for drinks at the southern end is wonderful. Our room was right under the rooftop restaurant yet even being high season, noise was no issue at any time (which was my main concern based on some reviews). The room was always cleaned and fresh towels and water provided when requested. An excellent evening of chilled live music was a first for them while we were staying and very successful. Overall superb, and we'd definitely stay again.
