Built by the famous Austrian architect Günther Domenig, this design hotel is only 1 km away from the centre of Graz. Very spacious room and bathroom. Provided body lotion and one free bottled water. Nice pool even though we did not use it. Elevator is a bonus. No tea and coffee inside the room is a minus. Interesting artworks on every floor.

An Unforgettable Stay at Schmoltis Chalet! We booked Schmoltis Chalet last minute for a spontaneous trip to Graz, and it turned out to be the best decision! From start to finish, our stay was absolutely incredible. The private wellness area was a dream—way beyond what we expected. The sauna, spacious whirlpool, and well-equipped gym made it feel like a luxury retreat. We were especially impressed that the sauna and whirlpool were even bigger than they looked in the photos—perfect for our big group to relax together. Markus, our host, was fantastic—super welcoming and always happy to help whenever we needed anything. His hospitality really made us feel at home. A special highlight for the kids (and honestly, for us the adults too haha) was meeting the chalet’s adorable alpacas—Carlos, Santa Maria, and Dolomiti. They were super cute and added such a unique and charming touch to our stay! We had an amazing time and are already looking forward to coming back. Thanks again, Markus! The family-run NOVAPARK Flugzeughotel Graz is located in the north of Graz, 10 minutes away from the inner city. The hotel features 2 restaurants, 2 bars, a terrace, as well as a spa and wellness... For me it was a good night sleep! Stayed just one night, but recharged for a week!

Feel warmly welcome at the family-run Hotel Stoiser, situated in the green Mariatrost district, a 15-minute walk from the basilica, and is easily accessible from the city centre of Graz by tram. Everything was very nice, the treval with tram to the city center was like an excurtion. Very nice places!

The Grand Hotel Wiesler in Graz is an Art Nouveau hotel that perfectly understands how to combine an exciting mix of old and new. It is centrally located directly on the Mur in Graz's old town. Parkhotel Graz - Traditional Luxury is located in the centre of Graz and features a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi, a garden and a spacious car park. There are very few Old World Hotels that manage to modernise, either in interior design, or with technology, and keep their old world values and dignity. The Family who owns/runs this hotel has managed a remarkable feat. The ParkHotel Graz is good to Exceptional in every measurable category. The rooms and linens were lovely, nice view, easy to get around the hotel, beautiful old antique furniture in the lobbies and halls. The 'bones' of the original building are still there, and beautiful, but the interior is refurbished, and beautifully done. The staff are friendly and helpful, see one exception below, and go out of their way to be cheery, thoughtful, and insightful. I found each meal I had there was excellent. I don't think I've ever seen a better breakfast buffet, and you could order other items like eggs on toast... It wasn't "bio" but a lot of the food is sourced locally, and spray-free and cruelty-free. The cauliflower dish was so astounding I can't describe it. Their chicken schnitzel is called fried chicken but the best I've ever had. I loved the ambience, the real honey/honeycomb, the fresh and delicious food, and the location is excellent. An easy walk to where-ever, and they have parking on site. I've rarely had a better experience in any hotel, and I am already looking forward to returning to Graz (a delightful Gem I hope remains relatively unknown) so I can stay with those Ladies and Gentlemen who are proud to serve Ladies and Gentlemen. Note to travellers: English speakers tend to speak Quite Loudly compared to Austrians. Do what you will with that info.
