It is a wonderful location and experience! Great staff members, great food, great room, great spa options. Only one hour from Vienna, but it helps disconnect and relax. I will go back for sure!

Το Hotel Schachner βρίσκεται στην πόλη Maria Taferl, κοντά στη βασιλική. Προσφέρει θέα στις Άλπεις και τον ποταμό Δούναβη. Where to start? Amazing location with beautiful views. We could just sit and enjoy the views. Tasty food, we had breakfasts and dinners and the food was just great, rich variations, tasty vegetables and fruits, fine wine.. Staff was helpful, whatever we needed, they tried to help. There were a lot of small things, like you don't need to clean your room, you get the present, but all the small things make it to wonderful experience. Swimming pool was next to the second building of the hotel, just some meters to walk, there was refreshment, table tennis, bedminton.. We will come again, definitely.

In a scenic location in the Wachau region overlooking the town of Krems, The 4-star superior Steigenberger Hotel & Spa Krems is 2 km from the centre. It offers a large spa area, and a restaurant. We came for the Christmas markets & were not disappointed! Nicely appointed room w/terrace & view towards vineyard. Peaceful area on the edge of town. Comfortable beds. Bathrobe & slippers provided. Walking distance (partly downhill) into Krems Old Town. Great location for also touring, for example, the Gottweig Monastery, Durnstein & Melk. Breakfast was very plentiful w/choice of eggs to order. Good coffee at breakfast. Parking just in front of the hotel, though filled up quickly by evening (there is a paid garage). Overall, a fantastic & relaxing stay!

The quality of the spa was unexpectedly fabulous, and appreciated after cycling for several days. Comfortable room and beds. Our dinner was very good, eating outside on their patio. Good breakfast and well set up for cyclists.

This family-run 4-star hotel lies hidden between the vineyards of the Wachau, about 900 metres west of the historic town of Dürnstein. The hotel is located on the Danube shore, with a spectacular view over surrounding hills and Danube from upper rooms, close to city, yet in a very quiet location. The room is spacios and very clean, the restaurant is offering quality food , breakfast is very good. Parking place at the hotel ground level is a plus. And the night sky view is magnificent (due to outside town hotel location)
