Wine tasting was awesome! Our hostess was extremely knowledgeable and I learned a great deal about wines! Breakfast was wonderful and the setting for the restaurant is lovely.

This family-run 4-star hotel lies hidden between the vineyards of the Wachau, about 900 metres west of the historic town of Dürnstein. The hotel is located on the Danube shore, with a spectacular view over surrounding hills and Danube from upper rooms, close to city, yet in a very quiet location. The room is spacios and very clean, the restaurant is offering quality food , breakfast is very good. Parking place at the hotel ground level is a plus. And the night sky view is magnificent (due to outside town hotel location)

Este hotel de 4 estrellas de gestión familiar está situado en la pintoresca ciudad de peregrinaje de María Taferl, en la baja Austria, a solo unos pasos de la famosa basílica. The staff were super friendly and helpful and the hotel is very cute and cosy with a terrace offering fantastic views over the countryside. The room had a gorgeous balcony with views too. They also provided a garage to safely store our bikes for the Danube River way. The bar downstairs is fantastic too.
