The hotel facilities are great, with a good sense of design and very clean. However, when we checked in, one of the male staff at the front desk was impatient. It was an issue with their system, but the experience was not very pleasant. Other staff members were nice though, especially the lady who helped us during checkout — she was very friendly and professional.

The hotel is 600 metres from the First Cable Car Station and lies 100m above the centre of Grindelwald. Its rooms and sun terrace have magnificent views of the surrounding scenery. Amazing view from the hotel although the location is not close to the station. you can take the bus which stops there. Room is clean with balcony. And it is very quiet. there is welcome drink and cookie. There is also microwave at night you can heat your own food. We recommend to spend one night there. If you have big luggage do take a bus. It is up on the slope almost not possible to carry suitcase by yourself.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the views were stunning. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a great variety. The overall atmosphere was peaceful and charming—perfect for a relaxing getaway. I highly recommend it and would love to return!

Featuring a restaurant, Restaurant & Hotel Schlossberg is located in Thun. Guests can enjoy a small wellness area including a sauna, steam bath, hot tub and some loungers on site. Over all a VERY nice stay. Would go back again if in the area.

The view is too good, if you are here for the fantastic slopes of Grindelwald, choose this place for sure! Breakfast is so good, exceptional choice, very tasty, and free spa. room balcony overlooking the fantastic slopes, so beautiful, recommend!
