Cannot say enough good things about this hotel. Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was not as close to the metro as I would have hoped, but once I arrived it was very easy to navigate around the city. The room was fantastic, the amenities were great. Very luxurious for a great price. Would definitely stay here again next I visit.

Even though we were only there for two days we were very pleased with the location of the hotel, it is close to a park which is beautifully lit in the evening. Staff very helpful w warm thanks to the main manager David who looked after us very well until the very end he was very kind and courteous. I hope we can come back here again sometime .

The hotel is in the centre of Xi'An and has a Grand Hotel feeling which is a nice break from the more standard hotels. Staff is very helpful and attentive. Rooms are very nice and of good size. Breakfast is great and the club on the 7th floor is a great place for an evening tea or drink.

The hotel's facilities and services were excellent. We were provided with a pair of connecting rooms, which were very convenient and comfortable for our family. The room condition was also superb. Although it is about a 15-minute walk from the nearest subway station, the hotel is located in a quiet area and offers a full range of amenities, including a swimming pool and restaurants. Exploring the many historical sites and museums in Xi'an, and staying at one of the city's top hotels, will surely make for an unforgettable and memorable trip.

It was simply beautiful, a lovely swimming pool, great breakfast buffet. Amazing room with curtains & a toilet seat that open automatically for you! A robot for room service. Complimentary cold drink in the lobby. Anna, lovely Ukrainian hostess at breakfast was very helpful & professional. Next to a metro with direct service to bell tower area & next to a good shopping mall with good shops & food. Local restaurants in a little square behind it. Very comfy beds, huge bath & great power shower.

The cleaning ladies were all super friendly and even went to the extra effort of tidying up our room (eg rolling up our charger cord, putting our toiletries neatly on the counter, tucking the kids toys in the bed, even providing a laundry rack to dry our hand washed clothes for us all without us having to ask for this).

The Grand Hyatt, the name alone promised grandeur, and it delivered in every way. Stepping into the foyer felt like entering a modern palace. Golden wooden beams rose elegantly toward floor-to-ceiling windows that flooded the space with light. The design balanced traditional Chinese motifs with a hint of contemporary flair. Our suite carried the same sense of indulgence. Spacious and serene, it came with a powder room, a rain shower room, and yet another bathroom featuring a bathtub so deep it felt more like a private onsen. Floor-to-ceiling windows framed the Xi’an skyline, and the room itself exuded calm luxury. That evening, we dined at the hotel’s Chinese restaurant. Every dish felt like a celebration. The abalone was delicate and rich, the fiery Sichuan-style beef casserole set our taste buds dancing, and the dim sum—bite-sized parcels of flavour—were a revelation. By the time I ended the night with a spa treatment, I felt blissfully pampered, refreshed, and ready for the final chapter of our holiday. I would recommend the Grand Hyatt to all my friends and family ❤️
