Kimpton Charlotte Square Hotel is situated in Edinburgh, just metres from Princes Street and George Street. From the friendly, efficient and professional welcome to the short tour of the building for orientation (it's a wonderful rabbit warren of a place!), to the excellent breakfast selection, to the supremely comfortable and quiet room overlooking Charlotte Square, this hotel is much more than a hotel. It's a beautiful home from home, where you just happen to pay a bill at the end of your visit. I had room 226 directly overlooking Charlotte Square but somehow managing to cut out almost all noise from outside. Bed was comfy and cosy, bathroom very well equipped and decorated, my swim before breakfast was a great wake up. I'll definitely be back, just no idea when...
