The room was large and also had a large bathroom. It was impeccably clean and well appointed, and included turn down service each evening. The breakfast had a huge variety of dishes to meet just about anyone's needs. The location is perfect, sitting at the edge in the Old Town, making everything walkable. Ordered room service one night and was surprised at the relatively reasonable prices. Booked a massage one day and paid € 90 for 80 min massage. The staff were very friendly and all spoke English. The stay was worth the cost for the level of luxury and service.

Villa Athena, a modern 5-star hotel, is located within Agrigento's Valley of the Temples, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It features a wellness centre, an outdoor pool, and both free parking and free Wi-Fi throughout. We were upgraded on arrival to a beautiful room looking directly out over the temples, simply stunning. Our room was really beautiful and spacious, and the staff so helpful. Pool was a great warm temperature, quite a change after experiencing many cool pools in Sicily! Finally the restaurant, Terrace of the Gods - we had 'front row' seats looking directly onto the temples and the food was outstanding!

By the way, the breakfast buffet is very satisfying (even without the view :). Staff is polite and efficient, receptionists and hosekeeping ladies, as well. Immaculate cleanliness. Very practical to have on-site parking (not tyipical in San Vito). Definetely would like to come back...

Gym and indoor pool were exactly what we needed post running the Palermo Half Marathon. Hotel is in a great location - 10 min from the station and in walking distance of everything.
