The hotel feels new and fresh, and my room was very clean and comfortable. I especially want to highlight Munira at the reception - she was extremely friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain how to get to Wadi Rum.

We stayed in this hotel in Aqaba and overall everything was very good. The staff were kind and professional, especially Raed, who was extremely helpful and always went above and beyond — because of him I give this hotel a 10/10 rating. However, there was one very disappointing experience. Earlier we had an issue in our room, and as compensation we were told that we could use the pool for free after 6 PM. When we went down at 7 PM to get the keys, we found the hotel owner’s wife preparing to use the pool with her friends/colleagues and we were not allowed to join. We ended up waiting until 11 PM to finally get access. As tourists, every hour of our trip was important, and losing four hours just waiting was frustrating. Being the owner’s wife should not mean using the facilities at the expense of paying guests. The hotel operates thanks to its guests, and the property should be managed with them in mind.

Before we booked the Jeep tour and the Stargazing trip, Ihab told us with full confidence: “If you don’t like it, I’ll refund your money.” It felt like he already knew how unique and amazing these activities are. The camp is located in the heart of Wadi Rum desert. They have parking on the main road, and you get transferred to the camp by 4x4 (round trip, with a fee). If you have your own 4x4, you can drive directly to the camp. My wife and I booked a 4-hour Jeep tour upon arrival, then returned to the camp for dinner. After dinner, we took a shower and joined the Stargazing trip deep into the desert. Both experiences were absolutely unforgettable — the Jeep tour to the historical and natural sites, and the magical night under the stars. The driver was extremely professional, navigating the desert as if he had a GPS in his mind. Thank you, Ihab, for this amazing experience!

I had an amazing solo stay at Ayla Rum Luxury Camp. The luxury tent was very clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything I needed. Yahia, the manager, was extremely welcoming and made sure I had a great experience. Big thanks to him for his kindness and hospitality!
