Το Onyado Nono Matsumoto Natural Hot Spring παρέχει δωμάτια σε Matsumoto κοντά σε Σταθμός Matsumoto και Κάστρο Matsumoto. One of the best hotels that I’ve stayed in Japan. It’s a traditional Japanese style hotel with no shoes policy, which makes the experience even better. Super clean and spacious rooms. Amazing onsen and free soba after 9.30 PM.

The service as this Ryokan was 10/10, and was the most authentic one we stayed in during our 4 weeks in Japan. The staff were so lovely, and spoke great English. They showed us to our room, and gave us essentially a "room tour" whilst we drank complimentary tea. They gave us a map with nearby restaurants and ammenties noted on it. The private outdoor onsen was SO nice! You book a slot upon arrival, which you can access in the evening with 30 min slots. The onsen was large and the perfect contrast with the fresh cool air in the evening. Yukatas were provided for us as an option to wear around the hotel - both my partner and I are bigger than the average Japanese person (Wife is plus size, I am 6ft 2) and we both comfortably fit into the ones picked out for us. The only thing that threw us was that during breakfast, they cleared the beds from our room - had we known people would go in, we'd probably have neatened the room a bit haha! P.S don't skip the sushi restaurant a few doors down from the hotel. The sushi was EXQUISITE and they even have a phonetic Japanese to English page at the front so you can have a go at ordering properly with the chef.

Το 蔕 Heta Nozawa Onsen, που διαθέτει μπαρ, βρίσκεται στον προορισμό Nozawa Onsen, Ναγκάνο, και απέχει 22 χλμ από Ryuoo Ski Park και 33 χλμ από Jigokudani Monkey Park. the spa was amazing, the family room is spacious enough for family of 5 with kids, it was clean and the location also great only 500 m to Nagasaka gondola and 600 m to downtown. we had amazing stay.

This is a quaint and beautiful property in stargazing village Aichi. If you arrive before 5pm you can have welcome drinks at the lobby. The dinner is unique with Salmon and Horsemeat Sashimi, coal BBQ with scallops, Unagi, prawns, fish, shabu shabu sukiyaki style with marbled wagyu beef that is thinly sliced (melts in your mouth) and lots of fresh vegetables. The sesame tofu with jellified soup was unique. We enjoyed the dinner very much - extremely generous portions - they made the salmon corn rice dish into onigiris so we could pack back to the room because we could not finish. There is a small and very clean onsen in the hotel, the girls and I thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The hotel room had Japanese style robes that you could wear for dinner and throughout the hotel. It was very comfortable and an enjoyable experience. Breakfast was again impressive. Western style breakfast was sliced potato gratin with sausages and tomato or garlic ranch sauce served with 3 types of bread with margarine and apple jam (white, wheat and tomato bun). The bread was served warm. The Japanese style breakfast came with a bucket of warm Japanese fluffy rice, and a basket of condiments like seaweed, preserved vegetables and plums, lotus, scrambled eggs. There was some hot soup and tea that you can pour over rice. They also served us freshly hand ground coffee and some matcha. The kids had apple juice. At 9pm there is a complimentary stargazing opportunity - Hama-san was very friendly, showing us the different constellations and setting up the telescope to show us the moon and Saturn with its rings. The night we were there 8 Sep 9pm there was a super full bright moon, so it outshone the stars. Despite that we still saw Vega, Ursa Major and Scheat a star in Pegasus (a red giant). When I woke up in the middle of the night to use the washroom - I saw Orion’s Belt and Sirius in Canis Major. The kids enjoyed the glamping room, which had up to 6 beds.

We had a great stay at Shoraiso for our honeymoon in December. Service is unparalleled and the staff are doing above and beyond to make us feel like home without being intrusive. We love the elephant decor of the room and the beautifully landscaped garden, and the private onsen is definitely the highlight of our trip. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is just exceptional (very tasty with fresh local ingredient and creative presentation). The location is quite convenient - 45min train from Nagano to Yudanaka station and hotel is just a few min drive away (the hotel can arrange pick up). Monkey park is quite close (around 15min taxi away). Overall we couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

Το Restmance Pension Woody Hill είναι σε Iiyama, σε απόσταση 25 χλμ από το σημείο ενδιαφέροντος Ryuoo Ski Park και διαθέτει κλιματιζόμενα καταλύματα και κοινόχρηστο χώρο lounge. This was one of the best stays in any pension house I had all over Japan. The hosts really made it feel like home. The owner took us to onsen every evening and we shared dinner/drinks in the evening as well. Recently renovated and everything was really nice. Parking spots were available and it was a short walk up to the ski resort. If you were not going to ski during the day, you can work with ample space in the lodge to set up.

Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. We had a wonderful stay at Momiji - everything was perfect and lived up to the reviews! Staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!
