Right in the middle of Shibu Onsen - and grants you access to the key to do the onsen tour there. And when you’re done, there is a beautiful private onsen on site to enjoy as long as you’d like. This was the highlight of our trip!

Very new and clean! Two saunas and a cold bath outside, and a hot bath with showers inside. The room was nice and clean as well! And the owner was amazing, helped us with recommendations and additional service for our wet shoes and booked a taxi for us to go to the station.

Very nice and traditional ryokan renovated 3 years ago with a lot of luxurious taste. The hallway to eat diner and breakfast is amazing dated from edo period. Rooms are modern and spacious. The chef was working in refined restaurant in Tokyo before and he is cooking an amazing food, the best I had during my trip in nagano. Staff was nice and friendly. I really recommend.

We had a great stay at Shoraiso for our honeymoon in December. Service is unparalleled and the staff are doing above and beyond to make us feel like home without being intrusive. We love the elephant decor of the room and the beautifully landscaped garden, and the private onsen is definitely the highlight of our trip. Breakfast and dinner are included and the food is just exceptional (very tasty with fresh local ingredient and creative presentation). The location is quite convenient - 45min train from Nagano to Yudanaka station and hotel is just a few min drive away (the hotel can arrange pick up). Monkey park is quite close (around 15min taxi away). Overall we couldn’t recommend this hotel more!

The room is warm and cozy. The bed is very comfortable. It’s a perfect choice for your ski trip or exploring the area in the green season. The hotel is close to convenience store open from 10am to 20pm there are restaurant and cafes nearby. There is a big ski room, and you can dry your gears. You can buy your ski-pass with a discount directly at the holes. The owner and the staff are amazing. the breakfast is lovely. I will come back! MADARO mountain is great!

Located in Otari and with Tsugaike Kogen Ski Area reachable within 2.3 km, 椛 Momiji features ski-to-door access, non-smoking rooms, free WiFi throughout the property and a garden. We had a wonderful stay at Momiji - everything was perfect and lived up to the reviews! Staff were very helpful, friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!
