Our experience at Mida Creek was wonderful. The staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable, always willing to assist with a smile. The food was delicious, and while the breakfast was well-prepared and nicely presented, adding more variety would take it to the next level. Utaratibu at its finest! For those looking to combine exercise with relaxation, my friends highly recommend trying kayaking or stand-up paddleboarding (SUP). It’s a great way to unwind while staying active. The ambience and serenity of the place is truly therapeutic. The beach is quiet and private, offering a peaceful retreat. We also suggest taking a walk to the long beach —it’s a beautiful experience. You can catch a sunrise. We would definitely recommend this place and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

The property is exactly as described, it's cozy, everything is new, beatifully designed bathroom, modern new windows, impeccably clean, beautiful terrace at the the roof, lovely breakfast area. Everyone was genuinely so kind, Alex and his wife are such nice and helpful people! The spa on premises also is great, has very reasonable prices compared to other touristy locations, and is very professional and soothing. I absolutely recommend getting a massage - it was just what I needed and it was a great massage. On top of all that breakfast was wonderful as well, with an incredibly rich plate of fresh fruit that I absolutely loved, scrambled eggs offered every day and properly brewer strong coffee! I am gluten intolerant and Alex made sure I have gluten free options for breakfast as well. The location is good, a few minute walk to a beach, and walkable to a couple nearby beaches (albeit a little longer walk, but I like to walk - you can easily get a tuk tuk though).

We had the pleasure of getting to know him, and he drew us into his adventure. Our safari room was perfect, beyond expectations, not to mention the abundant and delicious food. We tried the fish dinner and the Swahili one, both amazing thanks to the chef, who surprised us!! Let me mention Andrea again, always there for every need. Great job "Nyumba ya Afrika", don't hesitate to arrange your holidays with them. You'll come back home happy and relaxed!

This hotel has been designed and built with great attention to detail with beautiful features , exquisite furnishings . It is in a secluded quiet spot with no external noise which makes your stay totally relaxing and calm . The food was delicious and beautifully presented . Cocktails first class!! Staff are attentive and very friendly . Fabulous pool and relaxation areas and wonderful garden . Beautiful view of the sea.

Το AHG Lion Beach Resort έχει εξωτερική πισίνα, κήπο, βεράντα και μπαρ, στον προορισμό Watamu. I loved the location, the vibe, the food- especially the calamari. I loved friendliness of the staff, the pool. They organized entertainment, first night we had acrobats who actually involved the guests . The 2nd night we had a white themed party with cocktails and oldies music. Reaaaaallllyyyy fun!! Florence kept vibing with is and all the other guests to give us a personalized experience. There were many foreigners and as a Kenyan, I felt treated equally, which was refreshing. The staff are attentive, warm, professional and thorough.

Fantastic hotel/resort. Staff wonderful and pools bar and locatoin perfect for a stay in Watamu. Close to center but far enough for quiet and stress free enviroment on the water with fantastic views My second time staying at Mawe and is my go to place in Watamu. If you want a small hotel with all the services you want this is the place....
