HungarySecond time here, but if we will come to Sigiriya, definetaly to this place. .The surrounding is so beautiful, you feel as the middle of the jungle. Monkeys are watching you all the time, its funny.
The rooms are superclean and comfortable.
Finally the breakfast is amazing. The owner puts not only lot of food, but his heart on tge table as well.

The host is friendly and very helpful! The place is clean and the location is excellent, middle of the jungle, 5 minutes walk from lions rock.
We arrived in the middle of the night and the property owner was so helpful and nice and waited for us.
They made us Sri Lanka breakfast and coffee in the morning :)
The rooms are simple and clean, the AC works, the pool is clean.
You can hear many birds in the morning and it’s a full jungle experience.
We had a late flight and the check out was late which was also no problem!

South AfricaThis hotel was absolutely exquisite, rooms are nestled away at the forest edge. The staff are super helpful and the food was next level. The facilities are stunning. The only thing to note it’s about 7-8km from sigiriya but the hotel does offer shuttle services at a minimal fee. Definitely a must stay!

We had an incredible moment with my friends. Staff is super nice and qualified, they made us discover exquisite food, and their place is just a little piece of paradise. To be noticed that you also have access to all infrastructures (gym, restaurant, swimming pool, badminton, ping pong, etc.) of the hostel next door, as well as a relaxing spa with Ayurvedic treatments / massages.
I would recommend this place to anyone willing to share a peaceful moment in couple, or with friends or family.

Perfect location to visit lions rock or Pidurangala Rock as both is in walking distance. The host is super friendly and caring and makes amazing breakfast and dinner. The house itself is very peaceful and a great place to relax. 10/10 !

Gamage is a great host who taught us a local board game during our one-night stay.
Both breakfast and dinner are tasty and abundant.
A/C and fridge were available in the room as well as mosquito net.
Enough space is available to hang out outside in the garden and patio.
Kitties, dog and chicken complete the welcoming space.

Situated in a beautiful, calm, and peaceful location near Kandalama Lake, this hotel is perfect for escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life and finding relaxation. Our spacious room featured a large bathroom and comfortable bedding. We thoroughly enjoyed the buffet dinner, which offered a wide variety of choices. The friendly and accommodating staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

It was our second time in this place and we still love it. We are really feeling good here in this beatiful place with a magical garden with many anilmals. We love every members of the staff they are really kind and warm-hearted persons. The breakfast and food are also nice. We enjoyed the open-space bathroom. You can feel close to the nautre here in a calm way. We didn't use the pool however it is not bad an private pool in the middle of a "paradise". :) Highly recommend it!

There is a new manager who has recently started making improvements. However, it is already a very good place to stay. The rooms are extremely large, featuring balconies and spacious bathrooms. Everything is very clean. The pool is also very nice and is cleaned several times a day. The location is a great base for day trips. Enjoy a delicious breakfast in the restaurant.

The staff was so friendly! Also the breakfest, where we could choose between 4 different menus (we chose the Sri Lankan, it was great), was very delicious.
The rooms are very spacious, tidy and comfortable.
It is a little outside of Sigiriya, but if you travel by car its no problem at all. The guards will make sure everything works perfectly.
The nights could be a little loud cause its very windy and you can her all the plants. But if youre not a very light sleeper, it should be no problem.
Overall I definitely recommend Sigiriya Forest Edge!!

The room was very spacious, the bed super comfortable and with a terrace full of trees. The owner was very friendly and her food was amazing! Breakfast delicious and curry as well. We really enjoyed our stay. Only 30 min walking from Sigyria rock. We would really recommend staying there 🫶🏼

Everything! It’s such a great place to relax. Everyone is very nice and helpful and welcomes you with a big smile. The room was quite specious and nicely decorated. Great massage with wide choice of treatments. The food was good as well with nice breakfast buffet. If I ever come back to Sigiriya, I will stay there again.
