The breakfast was amazing - I love the Sri Lankan breakfast so they made me a Sri Lankan omelette. Highly recommend. Very friendly staff, really kind and went out of their way to help me. I felt like part of the family when I was there but also a valued guest. Good location close to the beach.

I had an awesome stay ! If you are a nature lover, this place is for you! Even the access with the pick up is an nice adventure, and you can also easily access to the village by feet with a really nice and short walk. They have contact with a guide that is very nice and knows a lot about the rainforest and its animals. They organised 3 tours for me with him and I loved it !! Really one of the best experience I did in Sri Lanka ! The room is very clean, they are cooking food on the hotel. Enjoy the view and the peacefulness!

Serene Villa Hiriketiya tiene vistas al jardín y está en Hiriketiya. Cuenta con restaurante, servicio de habitaciones, cafetería, jardín, piscina al aire libre abierta todo el año y terraza. The owners are lovely, and ready to help with anything. The rooms were large (with lots of natural light), well maintained, and the property in generally is very peaceful (i.e. serene). Location is perfect, about 5 minutes from Hiriketiya beach and a bunch of great cafes and restaurants. They host yoga classes in the morning, and the gym on the property is better than most five stars. Serene Villa was a big reason why Hiriketiya was our favourite location on our 10 day SL trip.

I had a very relaxing and pleasant stay at Nature Rex. Bandara and Nadeesha were fantastic hosts but their son, Leo and dog, Lillie steals the show hands down. I came for one night but stayed on for 11. The beach is very close to the hostel, perfect for a early morning or late night swim. Highly highly recommend their place and I'd definitely be back next time. Cheers!
