We had an incredible one night stay at Green Garden Homestay. Nillu (the guest) was super friendly, cooked delicious food for dinner and breakfast and we had a great conversation with her and her son. She also helped us arrange the safari to Huluro Eco Park, where we could see lots of wild elephants. We fell in love with her dog Elly, she was so cute and barked at the monkeys that tried to get close to the house! We would repeat for sure and recommend to our friends visiting Sri Lanka

You feel luxurious as soon as you enter in, where the staff welcomes you to light up the oil to feel at home. The hotel has also kept the nature around, building houses around trees and including them in the design. It looks like a town village where you can go around and discover new and beautiful corners at every step. There is even a bathtub facing the lake of Giritale and you can enjoy a bath with an incredible view. The staff is super helpful and the food was delicious! We had buffet dinner there and we enjoyed every plate. The breakfast was also really delicious!
