Had everything we needed. Above imago Mall for extreme convenience and close to come excellent coffee shops and restaurants. Exceedingly responsive hosts who were attentive to our needs but not intrusive. Highly recommend for a stay in Kota Kinabalu.

Set amidst a nature reserve overlooking the South China Sea, Shangri-La Rasa Ria, Kota Kinabalu features relaxing stays in elegantly furnished guest rooms. Super nice hotel, very private location, but of course the hotel is big. We got a free upgrade to an ocean wing, which was really kind from the management and made our stay even much better, cause main pool sometimes crowded to be honest) Nice pools, greatest breakfasts, super helpfull staff, great ficilities. Everything in a good shape and quality.
