Sanbona Wildlife Reserve is an authentic and contrasting natural space, conveniently located along Route 62, a mere 3.5 hours from Cape Town in the arid Little Karoo. It far exceeded our expectations, it’s very well run , nicely luxurious, excellent staff and we had some good game drives and were fortunate to see a Cheetah, there are only 3 on the property ( bigger than Singapore) no lion sightings which was a disappointment but nature doesn’t always perform to order. Some excellent interactions with a the elephants. The food was good and from the decking we saw Kudo, Gazelles, Baboons, a Lion was spotted and a Brown Hyena.

Mooiplaas Guesthouse is a luxury guest house situated on a working ostrich farm, within 11 km of Oudtshoorn. It is the 3rd time we have stayed here and it did not disappoint. We have been back 3 times because it is excellent value for money the staff always go above and beyond to help. The scenery, the rooms are amazing and clean and we just love it.

Karoo Retreat- Self Catering Villas and Guest House offers self-catering accommodation located in Oudtshoorn, within the Klein Karoo. It offers a plunge pool. Beautiful, clean and modern apartments. Well equipped with all amenities. Secure parking. Very helpful and friendly staff. Would have loved to stay longer.

Stayed in Mae West, perfectly situated to lie on the deck next to splash pool and look out onto the mountains. Had clear skies in the evening which made stargazing absolutely spectacular. Unit has small fridge and pod coffee machine which was not listed on Booking.com, had I known this I would have brought along some coffee pods.

Το Zeekoe βρίσκεται κατά μήκος της μεγαλύτερης διαδρομής κρασιού R62 στον κόσμο και περιβάλλεται από τα βουνά Swartberg και Outeniqua. It is my 3rd time there. Quite place, complimentary liqueur, huge bathroom, fireplace, hitting sheet and many another small things. Good restaurant for dinner with big choice local beer, wine, gin. Ostrich steak and springbok carpacho was delicious. Meerkats visiting really need to book in advance
