Everyone and everything here was amazing ! The young lady who checked us in at reception was so nice and helped with all we needed to know about the area .. the guys in the restaurant and the bar also extremely nice .. cocktails were exceptional! When you get a personalised service, nothing like it. The staff were so cooperative particularly the head chef Mr. Raymond who went out of his way to help us in preparing food for our baby which was out of their routine. This has touched me. Hotel Bellevue is located on the northern edge of Wengen, about half a kilometer from the train station. Wengen can only be reached by train or by walking from Lauterbrunnen. Although Hotel Bellevue is not located in the center of Wengen, its location is probably the best in the whole village, as my balcony had great views of the valley and the surrounding mountains. If necessary, the hotel will pick you up from the train station. The hotel is quiet and clean. The rooms are basic, for example there was no TV, but you come here for outdoor exercise, not to sit in a hotel room. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The hostess had even learned many Finnish words and phrases, which was nice and showed dedication. Since I wanted to do one more hike after check-out, I was allowed to leave my luggage at the hotel for several hours. The hotel restaurant served excellent food, so it never occurred to me to go looking for other places to eat. I especially want to recommend the Swiss traditional dish, rösti. Hotel Bellevue is one of the best places I've ever stayed - and I've stayed in many. And 12 points go to - Hotel Bellevue.
