This hotel has a fantastic location, quite near Loch Ness most interesting places. The room was fantastic, with the key requirements to our family. You won't find a more traditional Scottish ambiance anywhere else. This place has such charm...burning wood fire, traditional music playing whilst you eat a delicious home cooked full, hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little tired but for us this just added to the charm. Staff were so helpful and the location is fantastic!

Nice location within the walking distance to Urquhart castle. It was a one night stay only and we never had a chance to meet Sarah, but she left us detailrd instructions and we had no difficulties with finding the room. The beds were perfectly comfortable with many pillows and blankets. It was a bit small for 3 people, but we only were there for sleeping so it was fine. The bathroom had all thr necessaries. Absolutely great place for enjoying the nature of Scotland.

The host, Luzzane and Duncan, and all staff were accommodating and excellent and went beyond to ensure the stay was enjoyable. The food was fantastic and the location was quiet but very accessible to Lochness and Inverness. Very quaint building with a nice bar. Highly recommend this place.
