Excellent location to visit Fort Kochi and Jew Town. Despite being in the centre of the old city, its location slightly away from the road, made it very quiet. Joseph is a very nice and helpful person always ready to offer his advice/service.

The Hotel had a very good location sunce it was in the jewish quartet near to many shops and restaurants and also it was easy to reach Fort Kochin since with a tul tul it was 10 minutes. The rooms were very good and extremely clean and the people in the reception were very professional and helpful providing us with all the necessary info on attractions and restaurants. This was by far the fanciest (but definitely not priciest) accommodation I had in my 3 month stay in India. This place could easily have 4 or 5 star rating. It’s tucked away in a very busy area but it’s very quiet. It was open barely a few weeks ago and looks like a beautiful villa, very tastefully furnished, full of plants and impeccably kept. The rooms are very tasteful with all the amenities a high end hotel can offer. To say it’s good value for money would be an understatement. The same price can get you an average homestay in fort kochi (mine had ants and no back up generator). The area is far from the tourist attractions but definitely feels more genuine and has way better and more plentiful food options around (check out Milano ice cream). I stayed in fort kochi for a couple of days and by far prefer Ernakulam, as it lacks the overpriced and average restaurants that target tourists that are everywhere in fort. I cannot say anything about food offered by the hotel because they didn’t offer it yet when I was there, but they will in a couple of weeks. I’m sure that it will be great though and will make this hotel a real gem.

Breakfast was very good. The owner came over and introduced himself and thanked us for staying there. Staff members were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean with nice soaps, etc. Best of all: they arranged for a driver to take us to Munnar and Alleppey (3-day trip) and visit all the sites, for a very fair price. The owner of the private taxi company, Martin, made the booking and our driver, Devassey, was exceptional: an efficient and safe driver who knew the area well and made great recommendations about what to see/do along the way, was friendly and easy to be with, and kindly accommodated an early morning (6 a.m.) start for a 4-hour drive to our next destination. He made the trip magical and we were all sorry to say goodbye when he dropped us at the airport. Highly recommend.

location in the modern, new part of the city center, a little far from the center of Fort Kochi, the room was clean, and so was the bed, the corridor was a little less clean, the room has air conditioning, they arranged a taxi to the airport for us at a very affordable price, good value for money money
