Family-run for 150 years, the Boutique Hotel Balm is located in a green suburb of Lucerne and features a gourmet restaurant with fish and other specialities and offers free WiFi in all rooms. Beautiful locations with perfect scenery, the hotel was very pretty with an amazing pool with mountain views. Our room was spacious and comfortable . We really appreciate LIAN who was very kind and helpful throughout our stay and even at the end. She is very professional and makes sure the guests are comfortable during the stay. A very warm and generous person 😊

Located 4 km outside of Lucerne’s town centre, the Felmis offers a restaurant with 2 terraces, free Wi-Fi and free parking. Lake Lucerne is just a 20-minute walk away. very nice hotel in a wonderful location, super easy to reach the city having the bus stop right in front of the building

I went in Oct and trip advisor suggested I was taking a risk as weather could be bad. I wanted to experience being above the clouds and or view of town from the mountain. I took the risk and it totally paid off. The view of mountain peaks sticking up in blanket of clouds was amazing. Although, you can do a day trip but you would miss the sunrise and sunset experience from the top. The dinner as well as the view from my room was amazing as well.

The family-run Seehotel Gotthard in Weggis on the shore of Lake Lucerne, 25 km from Lucerne, offers 2 restaurants, a pizzeria, a bistro and rooms with scenic views and free WiFi. We spent a week in the hotel in April. It is a beautiful property and a great base for walks to Hertenstein, Vitznau and to the cable car to mount Rigi. The hotel is near the ferry dock which provides an easy way to reach the many small pretty towns on the Lake Lucerne. The hotel staff is very pleasant and helpful, the breakfast buffet is simply delicious! It is a very good opportunity to sample local breads, cheeses and cold meat cuts, and the hostess will also cook eggs to your liking. Our room with the lake view was so pretty! Highly recommend the hotel.

The hostel is very clean and the host is active and provides detailed guidance on the region. The perfect kitchen and cozy bedrooms that are suitable for cooking are enough to relax during your trip. In the center of Lucerne, the connection between public transportation is also good and only 30 minutes away from a quiet accommodation. Highly recommended.

The location of the property was idyllic. It’s a good place to recharge your battery and feel like you’re visiting your Swiss family’s hotel. The hotel felt cozy from the very beginning. It is not very modern but it’s warm and very well maintained. The staff is very kind and helpful and speaking English. The breakfast was very diverse and delicious. In the region there are some hikes you can do and a view point. Many people are actually living there so it’s really quiet and pretty.
