Our family stay at Racy Nature Cottage was truly amazing! The host was incredibly attentive and caring, making sure we felt comfortable and had everything we needed throughout our visit. Lovely big spacious room with an amazing balcony view. Nice bed and pillows and big bathroom facilities. Priyanka the hostess is lovely, friendly and speaks English well. We had a delicious Sri Lankan breakfast on the balcony. I highly recommended this place to stay and we were very pleased with our stay. Loved the view and it was quiet during the night.

I had a wonderful stay at one of the best houses in Sri Lanka. The place is beautiful with a peaceful environment, and the food was excellent, especially the breakfast with fresh local fruits. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The room was large, the bed was very comfortable, and everything was clean and tidy, which made the stay very relaxing. The house is located very close to Ella city less than 10 minutes away and it’s easy to find affordable taxi and 24-hour tuk-tuk services. This place gave me unforgettable memories, and I definitely want to come again. I highly recommend this house for families and couples looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, professional, and always went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable. everyone was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. The accommodation itself was top-notch—clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail, from the bedding to the amenities, reflected a commitment to quality and comfort. We stayed one night at The Palace Eco Cottage in Ella and absolutely loved it. The cottage sits high up in the hills, and the view over the valley and surrounding landscape is simply stunning—one of those places where you just stop and take it all in. The room was very spacious, spotless, and felt incredibly peaceful. We would recommend it for the setting alone, but what truly makes this place special is the owner. She is such a dedicated, warm, and genuinely friendly person, and you can feel her attention to detail in everything—from the rooms to the food. We had an incredible breakfast with eggs, fresh vegetables, fruits, and delicious sweet treats. Honestly, it was one of the best breakfasts we had during our entire trip in Sri Lanka. She also offered us lunch and dinner—completely free of charge—which was unbelievably kind. We had already made plans in town, so we didn’t get to try it, but if breakfast was any indication, it must be amazing as well. A real highlight was the family’s generosity in offering to drive us to Ella town in their tuk tuk whenever we needed, again free of charge. It made everything so easy and added such a personal touch to the stay. All in all, we can’t recommend The Palace Eco Cottage enough. A beautiful place with incredible hospitality—if you’re coming to Ella, this is truly a wonderful spot to stay.

The property is tucked away on an off-beat trail, far from the bustle of Ella town. It’s peaceful, quiet and surrounded by nature, the kind of place that instantly makes you feel grounded. If you enjoy stays that connect you to your surroundings, this is a gem I’d highly recommend. The hosts are truly wonderful. The mother and daughters are warm, hospitable and make you feel right at home. Their kindness makes the stay even more special. The home-cooked food, especially by the mother, is delicious. We ended up eating at the property more often than in town because it was simply better than most restaurants. A beautiful stay, hosted by beautiful people!

Amazing place, thanks to Lal property manager for all the help and for the exceptional service highly recommended, its close to Ella but away from too many tourists. There is a tv with English movies, washing machine and cooking facilities we had a great time and would stay again, thanks Lal!
