Good directions. Good WiFi. Loved not having a TV! Beautiful views ! Quick responses to questions. Handy for getting to and around the peninsula. Bonus supermarket was an easy drive.

Το Stóra-Vatnshorn απέχει 500μ. από την ιστορική τοποθεσία Eiríksstadir και 17χλμ. από το χωριό Búdardalur. We stayed in one of the wooden cottages at Stóra-Vatnshorn and really enjoyed the peaceful setting. It was so quiet, with just the sound of a stream behind the cottage, and the view was beautiful. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It was a bit cold when we first arrived, but it warmed up quickly once the heating was on. The cottage is accessed by a gravel road. An ideal getaway for peace and quiet.

Had everything we needed for a low pace/stress relaxing trip. There is a grocery store no more than 8 minutes down the road. Also faces north do super nice to see the northern lights from the comfort of the cabin!
