Despite that we do not understand Japanese, the owner has a translation note in English on most of the equipment.

Το 藤のヴィラ チェリー棟 Self Check-in είναι ένα κατάλυμα με κήπο και βεράντα. We had an amazing stay in this little hut in Aso! It was equipped with everything you could need! The kitchen was functional, WiFi worked perfectly and the washing machine was a plus! The beds were comfortable and we had some very good night sleep being surrounded just by nature. The staff is available if needed. The view of mount Aso is amazing. It's located in a little wood area surrounded by fields, 10 min drive from the nearest Onsen Town (recommend trying one of the public ones for sure!). We would love to stay here again!

Do make sure you have a car when you go here, we did not have one and it made some travel to the volcano a bit challenging (though taxi / hitchhiking did the trick)

The location is incredible! You’re in a small village right by one of the most beautiful beaches in Japan, quiet, untouched by tourism, packed full of traditional houses with ornate roofs, vegetable plots and small shrines. Nearby is another fabulous beach for snorkeling (Myoken-ura) where we saw lots of colourful fish whilst black kites circled above. A truly beautiful area. Kaz’s place is great: huge tatami rooms, a rustic and cool feel to it, and not too modernised which we found fantastic-it felt like we living in an old temple…but warmer and with TV! (A tip for finding the place: it’s easiest to go to the road along the beach first and and go up from there and park nearby!)
