The rooms and the bathrooms are roomy and well kept. They are tastefully designed while allowing a lot of light. High ceiling in the bedroom (upstairs) creates a light, spacious feel. Bathroom was cleverly planned and kept clean. Access to a private beach allows a very peaceful stay. You can watch the ocean while dipping in the pool.

We spent one night at the Black Monkey Villa in mid-September and felt completely at home. The accommodation is tastefully and functionally furnished - the air conditioning, hairdryer and fridge are in mint condition and worked perfectly. The beds are very comfortable and the covered outdoor area invites you to enjoy the beautiful view of the greenery even when it rains. The shower was a real highlight - by far the best we experienced during our stay in Sri Lanka. We were able to relax wonderfully and would definitely come back on our next visit to Sri Lanka!

The staff was so friendly and uncle who worked there was so helpful he had to wait past midnight until we come after work but he was so keen in showing us to our rooms. The breakfast was also delicious. The property is located in a peaceful surrounding and loved staying there♥️

As its a small villa with only 4 bedrooms it gave us a lot of privacy and a serene quietness which was just what we needed. Away from the usual 5 star resort crowds.

So calm and quiet with very very comfortable beds and amazing hot shower! Incredible pool and fabulous food. The staff where incredible and the house was something very special!
