The summit house is just magical , the location is really nice , very calm , we enjoyed the sunset on the bench with the view of beautiful mountains, just in front of the property. The house is well equipped with everything, if you need something you can just ask the owner who’s super kind , he speaks a bit of English but his cousins helps with all communication efficiently . We ask them to prepare us a dinner and breakfast which was really nice and tasty . There a bbq but also a kitchen if you want to cook . The house is clean and comfortable. We truly recommend this place ! We have leaved in oman for few years and we know several places , this one thick a lot of good boxes !

The house of Homeed is a great spot where one can unwind and relax in the silence of the beautiful Jebel Shams and enjoy the wonders of the sky from a marvellous sunset to the night sky full of stars. The rooms are comfortable elegant and clean. Homeed and his family are great hosts and under request they offer a delicious barbecue cooked on bonfire.
Homeed also offers beautiful guided excursions; the top of Jebel Shams and the view of the canyon, walk along the the Balcony Walk and my personal favorite: the morning crossing down Wadi Ghul on order to arrive to Wadi Nakhr and bathe in the crystal clear waters of Wadi Nakhr Cave also named the Teapot.
If you decide to stay at Jebel Shams Hills you won’t regret it you’ll merely enjoy a warm welcome into this beautiful region.

Very clean house, beautiful design, magnificent views from outside. The host is really helpful. I was there only for one night but I wish to stay there for longer and enjoy the peace of the place. Highly recommend.

The owner's brother provided us with excellent guide services the next day by arrangement.

We had an incredible stay at the Sunset House in Jabal Shams. The host (Mr. Mousa) went above and beyond to ensure our visit was perfect. When one of our cars broke down on the way, he personally came to pick us up and took us to the villa in his own car. After taking us to the villa located on top of the mountain, he went back, took the broken car to a mechanic, and had it fixed! Not only that, but he invited us for lunch twice and was constantly checking in to make sure everything was okay. His hospitality truly made our trip memorable. The villa itself was comfortable, well-equipped and super clean beds and rooms, and the stunning views of Jabal Shams added to the experience. Highly recommended!

Our host was most friendly.
Please note that you are in the middle of nowhere there’s no restaurants nearby. I recommend using WhatsApp to contact the host in order to arrange whatever you need. In our case he had the time to arrange dinner was which great. He might not always have the time, there is a small kitchen available but it has no ingredients like oil so you will need to take everything yourself
