Thai hospitality is generally outstanding, but Pang and Mai are even head and shoulders above the crowd. Pang's breakfast and dinner preparations were consistently excellent and portions substantial. The location was idyllic. I stayed in my own bungalow with bath ensuite. It was a new structure with tile interior, table, chair and clothes rack. The bungalow was above a pond frequented by a variety of birds. I'm a birdwatcher, so I really liked that. The farm is about six hundred meters from a small village with a small store good for provisions and a daily soup offering. The hosts frequently put out delicious, steamed sweet corn on the cob grown on the farm.

Reasonably stocked fridge, better than an average hotel. Of course you need to share the cost to replenish it. Fully furnished property, fully equipped kitchen even with a washer and a dryer. A pouch of liquid detergent was there ready for us. I didn't check if it had a dish washer as we didn't need one. Full set of cutlery and table ware but we only found out in the last minutes as we didn't have enough time to check all the amenities. A perfect residential area as we preferred. If you drive it is a perfect 4 bedroom homestay for the price. Basically, it is a second home and has everything you need for your stay. Now, I am sitting in a hotel room of another town and regretting not staying in a homestay as there is no ice or ice tray in the hotel's measly fridge. 😕

The beautiful scenitic view of the mountains and valleys. A very comfortable stay with all the amenities you could ever asked for. The very warm hospitality of the owner. Superb breakfast with the additional option for dinner (either the local seasonal food or shabu). Very calm and peaceful atmoshere. Recommend for coffee lovers with coffee grinder, paper filters, server kettle and dripper provided in the room. Stayed here for 2 nights and will definitely go back again.

The view was amazing, especially from the bathtub; it was incredible. The house itself was very well designed with high-end materials, everything was comfy. The Chinese food from the restaurant is one of a kind, it's hard to find that good Chinese food around that area. There were bugs, but you are in the middle of the mountain in May, it's bound to happen, not a big deal if you keep the door closed. Overall, it was class A!

Beautiful Villas thoughtfully designed surrounded by nature. We were looking for something a bit further from the city centre. And this was the perfect spot! The property is quiet, clean and comfortable. Each villa is surrounded by trees so you feel like you're in the jungle. The pool was great to have a refreshing dip after a day of exploring. It was perfect. It's worth noting that it's a bit of a walk to food and shops so you'd need your own transport or you can use Grab, to get around. Thank you Tanya for making our stay in Chiang Rai so memorable. We can't wait to visit again!
