Clean, comfortable room with lovely view of the Solent. Trouble free checking in with plenty of information for our stay. Many delicious choices for breakfast and although we didn't use the mini bar and thoughtful extras, we were very impressed. Never had hair straighteners before in a room, thank you.

Lovely little place, we enjoyed our walks around the area and relaxing and watching the boats etc. Very easy to get to, loads of eateries and pubs. If you like Yachts and boats then you will be in heaven, but even if you dont theres still plenty to keep you occupied. Its also very easy to move around the island from Cowes whether you drive or use the bus service.

Easy to get around on foot.
Some lovely local produce & traders as well as the usual High St stores all in close proximity.
Lots of good local friendly pubs.

I know Cowes well because my mother in law lived there so...
I know Cowes well because my mother in law lived there so for many years I regularly visited her and stayed in the town. Since she died I have not visited as often and hadn't been to the Isle of Wight for two years until I stayed this autumn. It was a quick visit, but the shops in Cowes and the waterfront areas and town beaches are always interesting. I wouldn't stay quite as late in the year again as many places shut at the end of October or by early November, and if they're not shut completely they can be quiet and shut early (eg some of the out of town shops). Even the Cowes shops were beginning to wind down about 4pm on the Saturday and there weren't many people about. So do go but the warmer months and early autumn are probably better as there's more going on and there are more options. We ate at Mojac's and the Pier Inn, both excellent places for evening meals. The Pier Inn is also a pub but has a separate dining area. It was nice to go in pubs and for them not to be crowded but they do shut bang on 11pm.

Easy access to Osborne House in East Cowes.
Easy access to Osborne House in East Cowes. Really worth a visit! The island is very small and so one can drive round it and see lots each day.. Everywhere on the island is less than 35 minutes from Cowes (in October). Lots of good restaurants in Cowes.

We love the Isle of Wight.
We love the Isle of Wight. Beautiful island and I feel so safe there. We ate at The Coast which we thoroughly recommend. Tremendous atmosphere.
When we didn't use our car we used a local taxi who were brilliant and never let us down.

We enjoyed our visit although as it was the Isle of Wight...
We enjoyed our visit although as it was the Isle of Wight Festival during our visit traffic queues and road closures were in abundance. We spent a lovely day at the Big Cat sanctuary which was fairly empty making it a good opportunity to see the cats and talk to the keepers who are all so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. Great visit. There are lots of shopping facilities, great views and lovely little hamlets and places to visit around the island. The park we stayed in was peaceful but had easy access to Cowes and to the ferry port. Friendly people and we enjoyed great weather.
I have never paid over £100 a night for such a shoddy grubby room...it was like something from the last century and completely misleading compared to advertised websites, GreeneKing hotels.com.
It was furnished like a shelter room for ymca or recovering alcoholics. The only thing redeemable about the hotel was thr breakfast and very kind waitress.
Given thd location, and advertisement as a homely comfy heartwarming but this fell very far below expectations.
Lovely little B&B place close to the centre of Cowes. Parking outside, lovely room with big windows, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was delicious! Hot and cold options served overlooking the garden. Paula is a marvellous host, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable including giving us a lift into town in the rain and sending back a forgotten charger free of charge. One of the very best B&Bs we have ever stayed in, we loved it!!
Really cosy and spotlessly clean. A great location, walking distance to the centre of Cowes (about 3 mins). Great attention to detail and very well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Hosts were lovely and easy to get hold of. Parking is on the road and host sorted out a parking permit for us and there was not a problem getting a space.
It was quick to book in with a passcode and order breakfast as it was all done online. Fresh fruit and greek yoghurt was the best in the morning just a sample of what breakfast I had.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Bathroom was very clean too. Definitely recommend this guest house to anyone staying at Isle of Wight.
Excellent location, superb house with excellent facilities, everything absolutely perfect, homely and welcoming. We’ve been coming to Cowes for a while and out of all the properties we have stayed in, this has been the best ever and we plan to book this regularly for our charity Autism on the Water’s events in Cowes.
Very pleasant and comfortable apartment with modern appliances in a handy location for exploring the Isle of Wight. Near Cowes town centre so plenty of options for dinner nearby.
The host was very welcoming and helpful. Very good breakfast included in the prices.
Overall great stay and really good value for money!
The hotel has everything you would want when having a few days away. In the heart of Cowes and the main strip, and the Solent.
The decor so welcoming and great restaurant and outside amenities, bikes, heated pool.
The best breakfast I have ever had, very professional and welcoming staff.
Excellent location on waterfront and short walk to Cowes centre. Enough car parking spaces in front of hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist. Very good standard of food served without delay at breakfast and evening meals.
Fantastic location, Wonderful host.
Lovely breakfast.
Very well located for access to Cowes beachfront, high street and restaurants.
Very well located to access other attractions on the Isle of Wight.
Lovely surroundings and very dog friendly. Basic amenities provided on arrival. Good communication from the hosts. Good access to everywhere else on the island. Oven and fridge in good condition.
What a nice surprise. The home was impeccable and like brand new. Very spacious with all the luxuries of home. The hosts couldn’t be nicer and we didn’t want to leave.
It was close to town and the seafront. It felt like a ‘safe place’ as I was familiar with The Union. I have eaten and drank many many times as I live in Cowes.
